Sunday, January 11th, 2015 concluded the glamourous gala of the 72nd Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, California. Overall, the majority of dresses from this year were glamorous, eye catching and made the strikingly beautiful women of the Golden Globes look the part. Unfortunately, not everyone that took a fashion risk succeeded in turning heads in a positive light. Let’s start with some of our favorites though!
Best Dressed
Amy Adams in Versace
Between her Versace gown and Chanel makeup, we can imagine Amy back in the days of old Hollywood glamour!
Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad
This beauty can do no wrong! Chrissy stunned audiences in this gown that sparkled from head to toe down the red carpet. Sticking her with Mr. John Legend and it’s almost too much. Don’t worry Chrissy, we still love you despite your cry face!
Diane Kruger in Emilia Wickstead.
She can look stunning in anything, but this dress was definitely one of the top hits from Sunday night! The glitz and glamour from this divine gown only enhanced Diane’s natural beauty. Add Joshua Jackson on her arm and this duo makes the perfect pair.
Katherine Heigl in Zac Posen
Whoever is Katherine’s fashion designer knows exactly how to dress Katherine’s stunning figure perfectly. Plus, it’s nice to get a pop of color on this list with her matching sparkling jewelry!
Kate Hudson in Versace
We think we all know why Jennifer Aniston had to grab Kate Hudson’s butt.
Reese Witherspoon in Calvin Klein
Can we just take a second to appreciate that Reese was wearing $1.5 million in diamonds from Tiffany & Co. last night?
Worst Dressed
These actresses had an extraordinary year in the world of entertainment, unfortunately their dress choices did not follow.
Claire Danes in Valentino
We love her as Carrie in Homeland, but this dress does no justice for her.
Keira Knightley in Chanel
For such a beautiful woman (a beautiful pregnant woman!) this dress just did not work. We have definitely seen Keira rocking something much more fitting to her feminine style.
Rosamund Pike in Vera Wang
This dress could have been gorgeous, but it just doesn’t fit Rosamund right. If you’re going to wear a dress so revealing, it needs to fit perfectly!
Lana Del Rey in Travilla
We have to agree with the general opinion on this one- it reminds us of the Little Mermaid.
